How Can I setup a dial-up connection for online account?

You can set up a network connection either with a setup program from your provider or set it up manually.

If you are using a setup program from a provider select 'Uni_mod_64K' as modem. Please ask your provider

Setup a dial-up connection manually.

You must know the number, user name and password from your internet service provider.

•  Start the dial-up networking assistant:

• "Start” – “Programs” – “Accessories” – “Communication” – “Network Connection / Dial- Up Network”.

• Select the option “Create a new Connection”

• Follow the assistant and enter…

  •  The name for the Connection.

  • The Modem for the Connection “Uni_mod_64k”.

  • The phone number, user name and password.  

• After finishing the assistant you can connect your computer with the internet service provider.
